1.8 Billion + People are affected by skin diseases around the world at any time, faced by the challenge that In some countries, there is less than 1 dermatologist per million population, increasing the reservoir of poorly treated patients.
That’s why World Skin Health Day (WSHD) was established in 2013 by the International League of Dermatological Societies (ILDS) and the International Society of Dermatology (ISD). WSHD is celebrated annually on 10 July . This year’s theme, ‘Better Knowledge. Better Skin Health’, emphasizes the importance of awareness, education, and equal access to dermatological care.
The Egyptian Society of Dermatology & Venereology Branch of the Egyptian Medical Association (ESDV-EMA) is welcoming to you to join its celebration of WSDH 2026 by organizing a 1 Day event
aiming at:
• Raising Awareness: Education on skin diseases and health for both HCPs & Non-HCPs.
• Improving Access: Enhancing availability of skin health services and resources and connecting
patients and patients’ organizations with centers of excellence all over Egypt.
The Day will a 6hrs event based on Experts Panel Discussions; Representing Centers of Excellence from All over Egypt; on the most commonly encountered Skin Disorders: Acne, Eczema, Psoriasis, Vitiligo & Warts.
It will be equally divided between HCPs, & Non-HCPS & Patients’ organizations and connecting both sides together.
